The Holocaust Comparison Project: a Photographic Essay
My journal article, "Can the Treatment of Nonhuman Animals Be Compared to the Holocaust?" which appeared in Ethics and the Environment 11 (Spring 2006): 97-132, featured a 39-point comparison. Here, with photos to substantiate, is a 50-point parallel that I offer. Summarizes some key points from the article and also provides a link to PETA's "Holocaust on your Plate" exhibition.
The Meatrix
An incredible animated short film that stands as an indictment of factory farming and its destructive effects.
The Story of Stuff
This movie is a compelling analysis, using animations, showing how we are consuming resources, polluting, and so on in a way that is totally out of control. Brilliant analysis by Annie Leonard. Not clever enough to account for the overwhelming eco-impacts of animal agriculture though.
